Günther Bauer, son of Willehad Bauer, becomes part of the management of Lugina Schuhfabrik GmbH.

50th anniversary: 1.5 million euro investment in a 7,000 sq m photovoltaic plant, which will save up to 350 tonnes of CO2 each year.

Schwanheim becomes the company headquarters – the old buildings are converted into storage.

Launch of the WALDLÄUFER brand – inspired by the Gabriel Ferry story of the same name. The image of a North American trapper adorns every WALDLÄUFER shoe from this point onwards.
